Richard
holds 2 Bachelor of Arts degrees, one from the University of Ottawa
for Music and a second from Laurentian University for History. He
continues to study at Laurentian part-time and has nearly completed
a third degree in Political Science.
Richard was President of the Laurentian Association
of Mature and Part-time Students from 2005 to the fall of 2010.
Richard served on the Rayside-Balfour Community Action Network (CAN)
from its inception through to 2007 and was co-chair in 2006. Richard
is currently a member of the Azilda CAN where he sits on the Lake
Stewardship Committee for Whitewater Lake. Richard has helped organize
the annual Great Canadian Shoreline Clean Up on Whitewater Lake
since 2005.
